The Center for 21st Century Rights advocates the preservation of real, personal and intellectual property as constitutionally protected rights. The Center promotes conservative principles on property rights to protect the new and constantly evolving types of property that arise in this innovative economy.
We intend to encourage and foster discussion surrounding the conservative perspectives on property rights. As modern genres of property are introduced into a marketplace where precedents of categorization may not be present, a principled, consistent approach will be more realistic and effective than an ad hoc one. We believe that individuals have domain over both their physical and intellectual property, and we shall fight to ensure that the development of ideas is not inhibited by government overreach.
